Perspectives on the Plains

Tonight I had the privilege of hearing former Mayor of New York City Rudy Giulliani. He spoke on leadership and what attributes you have to possess if you want to be considered a leader. His last characteristic of a leader was to have a passion for people. I loved hearing this because this is the number one thing I strive to show. It is my passion in life to serve people in every aspect of my life. I am reminded of a verse in the Bible, Matthew 20:28 that says, For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve. My goal in life is to be that servant leader in whatever the Lord has planned for my life. What a neat night!

Aside from the tidbit of inspiration I got tonight, it is back to finishing up my final papers and PACK FOR VEGAS! Updates to come about the trip, and I'm sure pictures too!
